Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with luminous honeyed undertones and coppery glints.
Nose
An elegant bouquet of bright citrus, orange peel and lemon, softly married to polished oak and vanilla-infused toffee. Dried fig and leather rise with a whisper of sherry, while almond and nutmeg lend warm spice. The aroma carries a refined sweetness and quiet, old-library gravitas, inviting slow, considered sips.
Palate
Silky and refined, this Lowland single malt coats the palate with a honeyed sweetness that blooms into dark fruit—raisins and figs—alongside citrus zest and toasted almond. Subtle cocoa, vanilla and a measured spice from well‑aged oak linger, finished by a refined, sherry‑tinged warmth that extends with quiet, elegant length.
Finish
An ultra-long, refined finish that unfurls with lemon zest and dried apricot, coaxed by velvety vanilla and oak. Subtle walnut and cocoa drift through as the warmth of spice—cinnamon and clove—emerges, then slowly recedes to a clean, mineral glow that lingers and whispers of the cask’s quiet maturity.
