Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with coppery undertones and a warm, sunlit bronze glow.
Nose
Coastal peat smoke drifts with iodine and sea-salt, a medicinal edge riding the breeze. Vanilla and honeyed citrus peek through the haze, while a hint of ash and mineral depth lingers, kept buoyant by gorse and briny air.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate opens with rich peat smoke and maritime brine, eased by sherry-prune sweetness. Dark cherry, fig and cocoa unfold alongside roasted almond and toffee, while spice and a whisper of leather add depth. Velvety texture with balanced acidity; finish is long, warming, and smoky, leaving a saline, chocolate-tinged afterglow.
Finish
A long, maritime finish of peppery peat and sea-salt brine, slowly giving way to vanilla and toasted fruit, with a whisper of sherry. The smoke lingers warmly, mineral and refined.
