The 2014 Ardbeg Day release Auriverdes is named after the dram of two halves which combines the Green bottle with the Golden spirit within and aged in American oak with heavily toasted lids.
Ardbeg, always great always different and this was released as a nod to the green and gold of Brazil for the Football world cup of 2014.

Palate
Smoked sweet meats meet aromatic herbal honey and juniper, with mocha and vanilla toast weaving through. A delicate gravalax note threads the mid-palate, delivering savory depth and a lasting, softly smoky finish.
Finish
Sweet and savoury, the finish unfolds with mocha and BBQ smoke, crisp fish skin, oily herbal notes and burnt juniper. A cured meat–vanilla duet lingers, weaving savory warmth with a maritime, smoky echo.
