This Amrut Kadahambam (meaning 'combination' or 'mixture' in Tamil) really lives up to it's name. Single malt matured in Rum, Sherry and Brandy casks!
A mouthfilling Indian malt with dense mouthfeel and a real kick of dark rum and grapey Brandy to the malt.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery glints, a rich sunset-hued shade.
Nose
Rum-soaked raisins mingle with varnished oak, stewed plums and prunes, grapey cognac notes, fragrant spices, tobacco, old leather, and a whisper of forest floor.
Palate
Big spiced rum-like delivery opens the palate, followed by cognac-soaked prunes and black cherry sorbet. Marzipan sweetness mingles with sweet spices, tobacco and peppery oak, while hints of sweet roasted peppers thread through a rich, malty and woody finish.
Finish
An opulent, lingering finish of buttery grape and thick toasted oak. Leathered, tobacco-warm depth gives way to aromatic spices, gingerbread, and ripe figs, with a final kiss of dark chocolate.
