Colour

Deep golden amber with warm coppery hues and a honey-bronze glow.

Nose

Opulent on the nose, with vanilla bean and honey leading into orchard fruit and bright citrus. Caramel and toffee sweetness mingle with biscuit and cream, while toasted oak adds elegance. Subtle nutmeg and spice rise against almond and apricot notes, all carried by a warm bourbon-cask glow that promises richness and balance.

Finish

Long, warm finish of vanilla and honeyed oak, with rich toffee and citrus zest weaving through gentle spice. A creamy, velvety linger of almond and orchard fruit unfolds, slowly fading to a refined, sweet echo.

(aber-LOW-er) Right in the centre of Aberlour village next to the banks of the Lour Burn the Aberlour distillery sits. In Gaelic Aberlour means “Mouth of the chattering burn”. Sadly in 1898 most of the Aberlour distillery was destroyed by a fire, however this led to the distillery being rebuilt and improvements made in the 1920s, after the second World War, the 1960s and also during the 1970s.
