A very limited release of just 980 bottles in total from Highland distillery, Wolfburn.
This whisky has been aged exclusively in ex-Bourbon quarter casks and is just over 7 years old, the resulting liquid draws hugely from the cask with sweet vanilla balanced harmoniously with faint peat, citrus and classic floral notes.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden amber with honeyed warmth and a whisper of sunlit copper at the rim.
Nose
Sweet fruit fragrance mingles with briny sea air, lemon and lime zest brightening the nose, with a delicate whisper of peat smoke.
Palate
Grapes and honey lead the palate, folded with soft hazelnut and oak. Floral notes weave through, with dried fruit and cinnamon lending warmth and quiet spice.
Finish
An unexpectedly sweet finale, with toffee and brown sugar rising to the fore. Subtle peat smoke lingers, weaving through the sweetness for a warm, lingering finish.
