Tasting Notes
Nose
Sherry sweetness is followed by demerara sugar and heather honey, with hints of apple blossom.
Palate
Dried fruit prevails with apple, pear and gooseberries all present. Sweet on the palate, honey and butterscotch give way to light spices including cloves and cinnamon. There’s a beautiful rich creaminess; a huge depth of flavour.
Finish
The finish lingers longer than expected, with the honey and sherry notes fading at the very end. A truly lovely dram.
