The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), founded in Edinburgh in 1983, is a membership organisation which bottles and sells single cask, single malt whisky. It purchases individual casks from more than 170 malt whisky distilleries in Scotland and throughout the world.

Nose

Delicate Speyside aromas of orchard fruit and honey, with vanilla sweetness and soft malt, set against warm oak and a hint of spice—polished, inviting, and aromatic.

Palate

Silky palate of creamy vanilla, honey and malt, with crisp pear and green apple fruit. Gentle toffee and biscuit sweeten the mid-palate, while light oak lends structure. A whisper of spice emerges, and the finish is warm, smooth and refined.

Finish

Long, elegant finish; warm vanilla and soft toffee-spice linger, carried by gentle oak. Orchard fruits fade to a whisper of almond, leaving a refined sweetness and a graceful, spice-kissed closure.
