Distilled at Speyside’s most prestigious distillery, close to the banks of the River Spey, just outside the village of Aberlour.
This full bodied, richly sherried single malt whisky was matured in a single 1st fill Oloroso Sherry cask, before being bottled at cask strength, unchill-filtered, with no added colour.
Although the distillery in undisclosed, we can confirm that it begins with the letter M, and would be a favourite of Mr Bond.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany with a warm, ruby-tinged glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma dominates with dark plum, fig and raisin, layered with baked apple and toffee. Roasted almond, cocoa and orange zest mingle with toasty oak, leather and a hint of tobacco, yielding a rich, concentrated bouquet.
Palate
Opulent, full-bodied and cask-strength, this Speyside delivers a rich, oily mouthfeel. Oloroso-imparted sweetness coats the tongue with raisin, prune and fig, layered with toffee, dark chocolate and caramel. Spices—cinnamon and clove—and roasted almonds. Robust oak supports a long, warming finish with lingering nuttiness and a touch of tobacco.
Finish
Superbly long and velvety, the finish is dominated by the first-fill oloroso’s dark fruit and toffee, weaving dried plum, fig and cocoa with spices and toasted oak. A warm, lingering glow remains, with subtle leather and a final kiss of orchard sweetness as the cask strength heat slowly fades.
