Distilled at Speyside’s most prestigious distillery, close to the banks of the River Spey, just outside the village of Aberlour.
This full bodied, richly sherried single malt whisky was matured in a single 1st fill Oloroso Sherry cask, before being bottled at cask strength, unchill-filtered, with no added colour.
Although the distillery in undisclosed, we can confirm that it begins with the letter M, and would be a favourite of Mr Bond.

Colour
Deep, dark amber with mahogany edges and a coppery glow.
Nose
Aromas bloom with rich sherry and warm oak: dark chocolate, espresso and burnt sugar mingle with fig, raisin and orange zest. Hints of toasted spice—cinnamon and clove—fade into polished leather and cigar box, all wrapped in a lacquered wood undertone. At cask strength the bouquet stays bold, inviting and luscious, signaling the profound depth of a first-fill Oloroso maturation.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this cask-strength Macallan unfurls a rich sherry profile on the palate: dried fig, prune and raisin with dark chocolate, toffee and toasted almond. Cinnamon and clove spice sweep over velvety oak, while espresso-like depth adds backbone. A warming, long finish coats the mouth with fruit, vanilla and resinous oak, lingering with refined balance.
Finish
A long, opulent finish that clings with velvety sherry sweetness—dark chocolate, fig and raisin, orange zest and toffee, threaded with spice and polished oak. Warm and persistent, it lingers into cocoa-dusted almonds and a final whisper of clove.
