This delightful Speyside whisky, part of Elixir Distillers' Single Malts of Scotland series, was distilled at Tormore Distillery in 2015. Aged for 8 years in a single barrel, it’s presented non-chill filtered and without added colour. Notably, this is the first release under the new ownership of Tormore by Elixir Distillers, making it a historic dram.

Caramel popcorn, pralines, and toffee apple, with hints of honeysuckle, peach, and nutmeg.

Palate

Spiced dried pear, apple, quince jelly, and lemon peel, evolving into lemon cream and hazelnuts.

Finish

A lingering spiced pear and black pepper warmth.

Tormore
(TOR-mor) Tormore was built for Long John Distillers between 1958 and 1960 near Grantown-on-Spey, becoming one of Scotland’s first new malt whisky distilleries of the 20th century. Designed by Sir Albert Richardson with Alexander Cullen, the granite and copper-roofed site is one of Speyside’s most distinctive distillery buildings and was granted listed status in 1986.
