Tormore Glaschu Oloroso Sherry Cask Finished Single Malt Scotch Whisky 15 Year Old · 2010 Vintage
In stock
This 15 year old expression spent its final two years resting in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask, a finishing period that has layered Tormore’s naturally honeyed profile with richer, duskier depth. The result is a whisky that marries the distillery’s gentle elegance with the brooding warmth of seasoned European oak.
The artwork on this release is the Kay Gyroplane, an early form of helicopter, designed and developed by Scottish engineers, David Kay and John Grieve, in the 1930s.

Deep amber-gold with a honeyed, sherry-warmed copper glow.
Nose
Dunnage warehouse funk anchors a bright orange marmalade core, with wisps of pipe tobacco weaving through the aroma—an inviting, savory-sweet prelude to the sherry-finished depth to come.
Palate
Medjool dates and dark honey anchor the palate, with playful notes of popcorn, chocolate orange, and cola bottle sweets shimmering through, carried by velvet oak warmth and a lingering, softly resinous finish.
Finish
Sweet satisfaction lingers, framed by an aura of damp forest floor. Rich honeyed notes mingle with dark fruit and oak spice, slowly fading into warm, sherried sweetness and polished timber, leaving a lasting, comforting warmth.
