Due to the young age of the distillery, single cask independent bottlings of this spirit are hard to find. This 5 year old example is particularly rare - it's Ardnamurchan's peated expression, fully matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead.
For the artwork on this release features John Cobb's Crusader - a jet powered racing boat, built in 1949. The Crusader is shown speeding towards the bay of Ardnamurchan peninsula, with the distillery in view.

Roasted coffee beans, tart cherry juice and earthy, leather pub jacket.
Palate
Spiced fruitcake and molasses weave with dark chocolate, medjool dates and a lively blood orange, delivering a rich, dessert-like palate with warm, lingering spice.
Finish
Long, warming and assertive, the finish lingers with smoky, spiced embers that slowly die away.
