Bottled in 2021 at 46.8% ABV, AD/10.21:06 is one of the early core releases from Ardnamurchan Distillery, located on the remote Ardnamurchan peninsula on Scotland’s west coast. The batch was matured in a combination of 65% ex-bourbon casks and 35% sherry casks, and the release yielded 21,000 bottles.
Founded in 2014 by independent bottler Adelphi, Ardnamurchan is one of Scotland’s most modern distilleries and places strong emphasis on transparency, even providing detailed production data for many releases via a QR code on the bottle.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm honey glow and coppery edges.
Nose
Juicy orchard fruits rise with lemon zest, carried by a crisp sea breeze, then drift into silky milk chocolate and the warm, toasty note of malt kilns.
Palate
Lemon oils mingle with salt taffy, glacé fruit and mint leaf, touched by a garden bonfire. Bright citrus, coastal sweetness and a gentle, smoky herbal lift linger on the palate.
Finish
Long, coastal finish with lemon zest and sea-salt lingering beside a delicate sherry sweetness. Glacé fruit and mint emerge gently as a whisper of bonfire smoke threads through the tail, drying to mineral lift and vanilla and oak warmth that lingers into a softly warming finale.
