Bourbon casks from early 2018 were filled with a roughly 60/40 ratio of unpeated to peated spirit, then re-racked into Madeira casks for two years. These casks were vatted just prior to reaching 7 years old and bottled, yielding just under 19,000 bottles in this batch.

Tasting Notes
Colour
A rich, sunlit amber with coppery edges and a whisper of mahogany, luminous with golden highlights.
Nose
Dark cocoa powder with stewed plums and sugared almonds shadows of bread and butter pudding, spiced with nutmeg; sandalwood and bracken lend earth and wood, while hints of fruit scone and redcurrants brighten the bouquet.
Palate
Cinnamon sweets mingle with cedar bark as salted trail mix carries chocolate chips, while rosemary stalks weave through toffee apple, pine needles, and strawberries with black pepper.
Finish
Medium-weight, dusty, long, with a gentle drying finish that lingers.
