Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Murray mint and coastal brine mingle with a bonfire-on-the-beach glow. Salted peanut ice-cream, tomato stalks and Brazil nut sit alongside sundried tomatoes, teriyaki beef jerky, relish and tamari, stacking an unctuous, savory-sweet nose that hints at fruit and oak beneath.
Palate
Tarry rope and bung cloth form a charred, maritime baseline, then smoky bacon and old tractor‑shed depth yield to peanut brittle and sticky spare ribs. Red plum and cherry brighten mid-palate, before chalky cliff minerals and meatier traits rise in the late wave.
Finish
Crashing waves and sea-salt flood the finish, then a warming coastal glow settles as a bothy fireplace fades into a whisper of cigar-shop tobacco, leaving a softly smoky, enduring maritime imprint.
