Colour

Deep amber with a coppery glow and mahogany undertones, a warm, sherry‑kissed hue.

Nose

Maritime and magnetic, the nose opens with Murray mint and a bonfire-on-the-beach smoke, easing into salted peanut ice-cream and bright tomato stalks. Brazil nut and sundried tomatoes echo with hints of teriyaki beef jerky, relish and tamari, all wrapped in an unctuous coastal richness that promises depth.

Palate

Tarry rope and bung cloth opening give way to smoky bacon, old tractor shed, peanut brittle and sticky spare-ribs. Red plum and cherry brighten mid-palate, then shift to chalk cliff and meaty, savory notes in the finish.

Finish

Crashing waves and sea-salt give way to the toasty warmth of a bothy fireplace, finished with the dry, tobacco-kissed scent of a cigar shop.
