Unlike previous Ardnamurchan releases, AD/ is considered the "core" bottling as it is not small batch produced. AD/ is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry oak casks, and is distilled using peated and unpeated malt.
The result is superb drinking whisky that is the perfect capture of the distillery character; tobacco leaves and peppercorns are intermingled with coastal sea spray, hay bales, marzipan and a hint of bonfire.

Colour
Lustrous deep amber-gold, with coppery sheen and warm mahogany undertones.
Nose
A coastal, orchard-fruited aroma where bright orchard fruit blends with mineral sea air, the scent of wet pebbles and oyster shells grounding the profile, lifted by a crisp eucalyptus note that adds fresh, briny clarity.
Palate
Tobacco leaves and peppercorns form a savory core, with brine, hay and marzipan weaving through. A maritime sweetness emerges, carried on salt-kissed air into a persistent, coastal finish.
Finish
Coastal sea spray lingers, a gentle bonfire on the beach in its wake—a salt-kissed, smoky finish that fades to ember-warmth.
