A small batch of seven barrels from Aultmore distillery has been used to create this Speyside Single Malt, distilled in 2011 and aged for twelve years. Situated on the edge of the Foggie Moss in the heart of Speyside, Aultmore’s fermentation process lends itself to the identifiable ‘fragrant on the nose, substantial on the tongue’ characteristic.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with warm honey undertones and a soft, sunlit glow.
Nose
Raspberry leaf caramel with toasted oak, opening to roses, chocolate, blackcurrant concentrate and a hint of mint.
Palate
Loads of vanilla custard with raspberry coulis coat the palate, followed by buttered popcorn, white chocolate drops and a touch of lemon oil.
Finish
Sweetness persists into a calm, herbaceous finish, tempered by tarragon that lingers softly on the palate.
