Colour
Sunlit gold with warm amber tones and a hint of coppery glow.
Nose
Sea-salted peat and iodine ride a briny maritime breeze, brightened by lemon zest and green apple. Subtle sherry-cask notes unfold as dried fruits, raisins and a touch of cocoa mingle with vanilla and toasted oak. The aroma is crisp, coastal, smoky, with a refined balance of sweetness and smoke that beckons the sip.
Palate
Oil and smoke cling to the palate, Caol Ila’s maritime peat unfurling with briny sea spray. Citrus zest and green fruit spark sweetness, while toasted barley and a whisper of pepper lift the mid-palate, finishing with a dry, saline warmth.
Finish
A long maritime finish—peat smoke, sea-salt and iodine cling to the palate, slowly softening to vanilla and oak spice. A briny echo lingers, clean and warming with a subtle mineral tang.
