Colour
Golden amber with warm honey depth and a subtle bronze edge.
Nose
Peaty Caol Ila smoke elevates a lush Moscatel sweetness—ripe apricot and orange zest, honeyed figs and raisins, vanilla-caramel and waxy malt. Maritime brine and a hint of iodine thread through the sweetness, finishing with almond paste and toasted oak notes.
Palate
On the palate, coastal smoke and iodine-tinged peat rise, tempered by a Moscatel-influenced sweetness. Raisin, apricot and orange zest unfold with salted caramel, vanilla and cocoa, all wrapped in a full, oily mouthfeel. Cask-strength warmth lingers as peppery spice, mineral brine and a final wave of smoked sweetness.
Finish
Long, maritime finish where Caol Ila’s peat threads through a warm Moscatel kiss. Rich honeyed fruit, raisin and orange zest mingle with a touch of almond, lingering with a smoky, coastal edge as the sweetness gradually resolves.
