Coastal peat and sea-salt smoke rise in a refined maritime bouquet. Iodine and mineral brine mingle with bright citrus zest and subtle orchard fruit. A polished oak sweetness hints vanilla and toffee, while sherry-influenced depth adds dark fruit, cacao and spice, unfolding into a long, elegant finish.
Palate
Silky and coastal, the palate opens with Islay peat and sea-salt, softened by vanilla and citrus zest. Sherry-influenced richness brings dried fruits, cocoa and toasted almond, while a maritime brine keeps it buoyant. The finish is long and refined, with evolving smoke, pepper and a subtle coastal bite lingering elegantly.
Finish
Long, maritime finish: sea-salted peat lingers, carried by a whisper of vanilla and citrus zest as the oak softly unfolds. Subtle pepper and ash gradually recede, leaving Caol Ila's coastal, iodine-kissed glow on the palate.
