A rare edition of Single Cask Tomintoul. This is a 25 Year Old that has been matured exclusively in a Oloroso sherry Butt No. 333346.
One of 681 bottles to have been produced at cask strength with natural colour and with our filtration. A sweet and riped fruited malt, this has plenty of toffee and dark fruit character whilst still showcasing the distilleries 'gentle' style.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glints and a mahogany edge, a warm, lustrous hue born of Oloroso sherry maturation.
Nose
Toffee sweetness leads the aroma, with ripe damsons, plums and berries; vanilla and custard weave a creamy, inviting depth.
Palate
Exotic mix of sweet toffee with raisins, plums, glacé cherries and nutty nougat; a lush, fruit-forward palate where dark fruit sweetness lingers, tempered by velvety nougat and a hint of sherry-ed oak spice from the cask.
Finish
Sweet to start, it dries slowly into a lingering cigar-box spice, leaving a refined, warming finish.
