The Whiskymaker's Editons are exceptional diversions from the sherry led house style of the Lakes distillery. One of releases showcasing the sense of adventure of the whisky maker Dhavall Ghandi, in cask selection, maturation and blending.
For this release, the whisky has been matured in the finest, meticulously sourced Colheita Port casks and bourbon barrels.
Colheita means harvest, referring to the exclusive use of grapes from a single croip to create a vintage Tawny Port. In this edition the Whiskymaker's cask and maturation expertise brings Colheita Port into the frame, in combination with a small proportion of bourbon barrels.

Deep tawny amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Bright, lush aromas of Santa Rosa plums mingle with spiced pickled cherries and candied oranges, weaving a succulent orchard-fruited tapestry with a citrus lift.
Palate
Delicate prunes and stewed plums mingle with warming cinnamon, delivering a silky, fruit-forward palate that carries a touch of sweetness from the Colheita influence and rounds into a soft, comforting spice.
Finish
Rich and complex, with a long, lingering finish that carries notes of plums, cherries and cinnamon into a warm, enduring finale.
