The Irishman Rare Cask Strength is one of Ireland’s most exclusive whiskies, distilled three times and carefully aged in American Oak Casks. It is available in strictly limited quantities with just 3,000 bottles produced for 2021. Each bottle is uniquely numbered and signed.

On the nose there are aromas of creamy walnut and oak spices. Hints of stone fruits, nutmeg, honey blossom and fig intermingle on the palate. A rich, full-bodied finish.

The Irishman was created by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh as part of Walsh Whiskey’s move into Irish whiskey in the mid-2000s. It was the company’s first whiskey brand, launched in 2007, and it drew on older Irish whiskey styles at a time when the category was still rebuilding its premium reputation.
