Colour
Radiant golden amber with coppery highlights and a honeyed sheen.
Nose
Opulent, honeyed nose with vanilla bean and toasted oak. Rich apricot and peach nectar mingle with dried fig and sultana, lifted by orange marmalade. Subtle botrytized sweetness from the Sauternes cask layers over caramel and spice, while bourbon oak provides a warm, resinous backbone.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, with vanilla, caramel and toasted oak from the bourbon casks. A luscious Sauternes kiss adds honeyed apricot, peach and fig, with hints of marmalade and citrus. The finish is long and refined, carrying spice, almond and renewed vanilla in elegant, warm balance.
Finish
Silky, long finish that lingers with honeyed apricot and peach, carried by vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask. A delicate botrytized sweetness from the Sauternes cask threads through, with orange zest and light spice, fading to warm oak and marmalade. Polished, persistent, and deeply refined.
