For the Brabazon series 4, Teeling has sourced unique barrels used by a long forgotten historical style of Portuguese Port to produce a truly unique and distinctive Teeling Whiskey. Carcavelos is a style of Portuguese fortified wine dating back to the 18th century.

Nose
Ripe red fruits—blackberry, plum and fig—lead the aroma, brightened by citrus zest. A Carcavelos whisper lends almond, toffee and a hint of cocoa, wrapped in vanilla-cream oak. Velvety, wine-kissed and inviting, with a warm, luxurious depth that signals the 13-year finish.
