Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones, a glossy dark-bronze glow.
Nose
Dark chocolate and espresso meld with roasted barley and dark treacle, softened by vanilla, toffee, and a touch of oak. Dried fig and raisin add sweetness, while ex-rum notes deliver coconut, brown sugar, and gentle spice. A velvety, aromatic balance of cacao, warmth and fruit suggests a lush, porter-finish bouquet with refined elegance.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate opens with cocoa nibs and espresso, layered with dark chocolate, toffee and molasses. Roasted malt adds coffeehouse depth, while fig and raisin offer quiet sweetness. Vanilla and spice weave through oak, finishing with rum-kissed warmth and a subtle, charred cocoa glow.
Finish
Long, warming finish with espresso-chocolate and roasted malt, carried by a dusky porter sweetness of caramel and toffee; rum-barrel spice and vanilla emerge, with dried fruit and a gentle oak glow that lingers softly.
