About Teeling
Teeling traces its whiskey roots back to 1782, when Walter Teeling established a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin’s Liberties. The modern company was founded by Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2012, and the Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened in 2015 at Newmarket as the first new distillery in Dublin for more than 125 years.
The range has been built around a more modern style of Irish whiskey, with releases such as Small Batch, Single Grain, Single Malt, Single Pot Still and Blackpitts Peated Single Malt, alongside a strong emphasis on cask influence and non-chill filtration. Teeling also revived distilling in Dublin with a working three-pot-still setup at the distillery itself, while the brand’s phoenix symbol reflects the rebirth of Dublin whiskey and the revival of the Teeling name.
