Located just behind the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the historic Blackpitts area of Dublin City. Steeped in manufacturing tradition and formerly home to an abundance of malting houses, it provides the inspiration for the Teeling Blackpitts Peated Single Malt
First Peated Single Malt to have been distilled in Dublin. This is Triple distilled from malted barley and dried over peat fires The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sauternes French wine casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a sunlit, honeyed glow.
Nose
Toasted clove and cask char lead the bouquet, giving way to butterscotch, pineapple cubes, and a delicate drizzle of honey.
Palate
Bonfire embers and chocolate éclairs give way to green pear, with a subtle savoury note of meaty malt.
Finish
Long finish with plum and apple notes wrapped in peppery oak, leaving a warm, subtly spicy echo.
