Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is crafted using an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been triple distilled and matured exclusively in French oak ex-Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks from California, producing a truly unique Irish Whiskey.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Honeyed apple and red grape lead the way, with a sweet, lightly floral character layered with vanilla, gentle spice, evaporated milk and brown sugar.

Palate

Treacle brings richness, though the palate remains light and buttery, with dried cranberry notes gradually coming through.

Finish

The finish turns towards golden syrup tart, sweet egg custard and a lingering touch of spiced cereal.

Teeling traces its whiskey roots back to 1782, when Walter Teeling established a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin’s Liberties. The modern company was founded by Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2012, and the Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened in 2015 at Newmarket as the first new distillery in Dublin for more than 125 years.
