Tasting Notes

Nose

Vibrant spice threads through elegant fruit: ripe melon, fig and yellow plum, bright and inviting. Creamy lemon cheesecake and a veil of apricot glaze lend a velvety sweetness that lingers.

Palate

Almost fizzy spice delivery with lots of creamy citrus, vanilla and yellow fruit (especially apricot and plum) aromatic oak, clove & glazed danish pasties.

Finish

Lots of aromatic oak and spice, custard cream biscuits, pick and mix sweets, lemon icing.

Teeling traces its whiskey roots back to 1782, when Walter Teeling established a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin’s Liberties. The modern company was founded by Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2012, and the Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened in 2015 at Newmarket as the first new distillery in Dublin for more than 125 years.
