Nose

Aromas of red fruit and warm spice arise from a plush port-cask influence: ripe plum and cherry mingle with blackberry and fig, with a hint of raspberry. Caramelized vanilla, toasted almond, and soft oak weave a velvety sweetness and refined depth.

Connacht
Connacht was founded in 2013 and opened its distillery in Ballina, County Mayo, in 2015 on the site of the old Duffy’s Bakery, bringing distilling back to the county after 150 years. The distillery stands on the banks of the River Moy near Ireland’s west coast, and the site was set up to handle milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling in one place.
