Connacht
Connacht was founded in 2013 and opened its distillery in Ballina, County Mayo, in 2015 on the site of the old Duffy’s Bakery, bringing distilling back to the county after 150 years. The distillery stands on the banks of the River Moy near Ireland’s west coast, and the site was set up to handle milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling in one place.
