Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold reflections and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Salty rock pools and coastal brine rise with earthy damp forest floor, unveiling truffle and smoked mushroom notes. Lobster pots and crab shells conjure a soy-soaked undercurrent with orange rind, finishing with a veil of smoked pepper.
Palate
Spicy volcanic delivery, earthy and meaty, with smoked leather notes; orange zest, tobacco and roasted red peppers mingle, while sechuan spice adds a lively kick, all carried on an oily, salty body.
Finish
Smoky and peppery on the finish, with lingering notes of fruit-and-nut chocolate, chilli flakes, salted caramel and butterscotch, and a final whisper of seafood on a Chinese BBQ.
