Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery glints and a warm, sherry-warmed glow.
Nose
A rich, fruity nose of Victoria plums and greengages, with hints of dried orange peel, butterscotch and rum toffee, all carried on a delicate thread of smoke.
Palate
Sweet at first, then increasingly assertive, with a thread of smoke weaving through. The palate develops toward smoke, coal-tar and toffee, unveiling intense fruitiness and peat wrapped in a warming, rich, soft yet confident mouthfeel.
Finish
Medium-length finish with a warming chilli kick that lingers, drawing out smoky peat and a thread of sweetness. A peppery glow persists, fading to toasted notes and coal-tar warmth.
