Talisker Elements is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky aged 27 years and bottled at cask strength 58% ABV. It was released in 2022 as Talisker’s second-ever triple-matured whisky. The whisky undergoes three stages of maturation: initially in refill casks, then in heavily charred oak, and finally in old European oak puncheons.
Drawing inspiration from the rugged coastal climate of the Isle of Skye, it showcases classic Talisker traits - smoke, sea salt, and maritime edge - alongside layers of sweetness, ripe fruit, herbs, and a striking spicy, smoky finish.
Only 2,000 bottles were made, and it was only available from the Talisker distillery as a distillery-exclusive release.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a burnished copper-gold glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Intense maritime nose: sea salt and smoky peat, swept with coastal iodine and brine. Beneath, ripe orchard fruits—pear, apple—kissed by honeyed sweetness, with herbal notes and a warm spice. A kiss of cedar and toasted oak from the European puncheons adds depth, while a peppery, coastal finish hints at Talisker’s signature sea-wash and smoke.
Palate
Coastal and powerful, the palate opens with sea-salt smoke and a peppery bite. Ripe fruits mingle with herbal warmth and a touch of honeyed sweetness, guided by deep oak influence from the triple-matured cask setup. A long, smoky finish with maritime mineral echoes and lingering char completes the profile.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with coastal smoke and sea-salt beckoning the palate, accented by a peppery, spicy bite that lingers. A whisper of ripe fruit and herbs threads through the smoke, leaving a warm, salted sweetness that gradually eases into a dry, ember-like finish.
