Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a burnished copper glow and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Voluptuous nose with a grapey seam and sherry-cask depth. Dried fruit—raisin, fig, date—blends with orchard sweetness, honeyed vanilla and polished oak. Subtle bourbon caramel and spice swirl in the background, with almond and orange zest lifting the aroma. A luxurious, warm bouquet that hints at decades of maturation.
Palate
Silky, opulent and sculpted, the palate reveals a grapey core married to rich, creamy vanilla and a bourbon‑sweet undertone. Sherry-cask maturity adds dried fruit, fig and raisin, with almondy oak spice weaving through a velvety texture. A long, luxurious finish of dark cocoa, toffee and subtle citrus zest lingers, refined and irresistibly creamy.
Finish
An enduring, satin finish that lingers with grapey sweetness, mingling seamlessly with polished oak, vanilla and honey. Hints of dried fruit and toffee emerge from the sherry–bourbon influence, while a warm spice threads through, fading slowly to a refined almond and caramel fade that stays long on the palate.
