Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a rich mahogany edge.
Nose
Sherry-rich and majestic, with aged oak and mocha-honey sweetness. Dried figs, dates and plum mingle with orange zest, vanilla and toffee. A touch of leather, spice and toasted almond hints at its 27 years in cask, inviting warmth and refinement.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with opulent dried-fruit depth—fig, raisin, and apricot—enriched by a refined sherry influence. Spiced orange zest, dark chocolate, and caramel mingle with toasted oak, giving a velvety sweetness that coats the tongue. A warm, integrated presence carries through to a long, elegant finish of fruit, spice and refined wood.
Finish
Opulent, long finish of dark fruit and sherry spice, with cocoa and toasted almond unfurling into velvety oak. Raisin sweetness lingers alongside whispers of leather and tobacco, while warm nutmeg and citrus zest drift away on a refined, resinous echo from the cask.
