Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with tawny mahogany depths and a warm copper glow.
Nose
Rich, festive aromas unfold with fruitcake notes—dates, sultanas, mixed peel and raisins—interlaced with orange oil and aromatic spices. Vanillin oak cradles cherry jam, red berries and marzipan, finished with honey on toast.
Palate
Silky, sweet and grapey on the palate, with buttery fruitcake richness, aromatic spices, and dark notes of black cherry and mocha, balanced by vanilla oak.
Finish
Long and indulgent, with brandy butter and fruitcake at the core; layers of forest fruits, plum jam and vanilla mingle, lifted by mulled-wine spices and a hint of chocolate.
