Tasting Notes

Nose

Fruitcake mix (dates, sultana, mixed peel, raisin) orange oil, aromatic spices, vanillin oak, cherry jam, red berries, marzipan, honey on toast.

Palate

A sweet and grapey delivery with buttery fruitcake, aromatic spices, black cherry and mocha.

Finish

Brandy butter, fruitcake, fruits of the forest, plum jam, vanilla, mulled wine spices & chocolate.

Sullivans Cove
Sullivans Cove was founded in 1994 on Hobart’s waterfront and is one of the early names in modern Australian single malt. In 2004, the distillery moved to Cambridge and entered a new phase under Patrick Maguire, a period that helped establish the house style and build its reputation well beyond Tasmania. In 2014, Sullivans Cove became the first distillery outside Scotland and Japan to win World’s Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards.
