The 6th batch of the Speyside distillery Strathmill to be bottled by That Boutique y Whisky Company. This is a light, sweet and yellow fruited whisky with warming sice on the finish. A distillery that's largely operated for blending purposes (owned by Diageo, much of the output goes into J&B) independant releases are always interesting. This release is one of 401 bottles and the label reflects the distillery's previous incarnation as a Porridge mill!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright straw-gold with a sunlit, pale-honey hue, a delicate yellow-gold glow that gleams softly in the glass.
Nose
Floral honey and lemon zest open the nose, followed by grassy malt and biscuit dough. A bright, inviting sweetness that feels sunlit and gently poised.
Palate
Sultana and raisin dominate the palate, followed by banana chips and chicory for a fruity, lightly earthy lift.
Finish
Banana notes persist, evolving into a warm finish with a hint of red chilli.
