Tasting Notes
Colour
A delicate light mahogany colour, with a warm amber glow that hints at its sherry-influenced maturation.
Nose
Rich sherry aromatics unfold from first-fill casks, with dried figs, raisins and dates, lifted by orange zest and candied peel. Polished oak and mahogany support cocoa nibs and toffee, while a delicate spice of cinnamon and nutmeg lingers, inviting a long, sweet, velvety complexity.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate, with dark dried fruit (fig, raisin) braided with rich toffee and chocolate. Sherry-cask sweetness blankets the mouth, complemented by orange zest, almond, and subtle spice, all carried on velvety oak. A long, warm finish—sweet, smooth and reassuringly elegant.
Finish
Long, sweet and suavely smooth, the finish lingers with toffee, dried fruit and a generous sherry echo. Velvety and refined, it softly fades to a warm, lasting glow that beckons the next indulgent sip.
