Colour

Deep amber-gold with coppery undertones and velvety mahogany edges.

Nose

An opulent Strathisla nose of old Sherry richness: dark plum and fig fruit, sultana, and date, braided with brown-sugar toffee and cocoa. Spices emerge—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—over velvet oak and cedar. Hints of orange zest, quince jam, leather and tobacco lend a refined, time-honed gentility to the aroma, inviting a slow, contemplative sip.

Palate

Silky, full-bodied palate with refined sherry-cask richness. Dried fig and date mingle with orange peel over velvety caramel and dark chocolate, while wisps of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove arc through to add elegance. Polished oak lends structure, culminating in a long, indulgent finish of dried fruit, almond and a subtle smoky edge.

Finish

Long, refined finish with creamy sherried sweetness and gentle oak. Dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, dark chocolate and toasted spice, slowly fading to a velvet warmth of malt and toasted wood.
