Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark burnished amber, glinting with copper-gold hues and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Rich dried-fruit bouquet of figs, prunes and sultanas with candied orange peel. Subtle cocoa, toasted almond and toffee mingle with gentle sherry spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—while whispers of leather and aged oak add depth, yielding a warm, velvety aroma of refinement.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with rich sherried fruit—dark plum, fig and raisin—woven with cocoa, coffee and almond. Cinnamon and clove lift the spice, while polished oak lends a velvety grip. Long, warming finish of fruit and subtle cacao, fading to a poised, dry spice.
Finish
Silky, elongated finish of sherried fruit—plump fig and raisin—woven with dark chocolate, cocoa nibs and warm spice. A refined oak ribbon lingers, with hints of toasted almond and orange zest on the final sigh.
