Velvet on the palate, this 24-year-old St. Magdalene pours a rich sherried presence. Dark prune and fig mingle with dried apricot, almond and cocoa nibs, tempered by toasted oak. Spices—nutmeg and cinnamon—surface then recede, leaving a warm, balanced sweetness, a hint of citrus zest, and a long, polished finish.
