A stonking 22 year, single cask bottling of Springbank bottled by Claxtons. One of only 249 bottles were produced from a single bourbon hogshead and bottled at a healthy strength of 55% abv.
A really fruity nose of pear and fresh green apple is underpinned by a crisp, almost rockpool minerality. The palate is fresh and tangy with stone fruits and dry slightly peppery smoke. The finish is quite classic with a smokey, savoury complexity and dry finish.
