This bold and robust Single Malt is packed with rich dark fruit flavours, toffee, chocolate, crushed nuts, and spice. Satisfyingly rich and complex. The sweet and fruity flavours are balanced by savoury spice, sea salt, and smoke.
There is peat and sulphur on the nose. The palate has a silky texture that starts with pear and grape before giving way, first to oakiness, then to allspice, leather and peat.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a warm copper glow.
Nose
Peat and a touch of sulphur rise with a maritime breeze, carrying cured meat, beef jerky, and clove over rich Oloroso sherry. Minty iodine and tinned prunes weave through a warm, velvety nose, hinting at sea-salt-smoked complexity.
Palate
Silky on the tongue, it begins with pear and grape before yielding to oakiness and then to allspice, leather and peat. The peat deepens into sooty smoke and tobacco leaves, while prunes, walnuts and figs mingle with cocoa powder, Demerara sugar and smoked meats for a richly layered, lingering finish.
Finish
The finish grows and evolves with notes of soot, leather and walnuts, lingering before easing away like an ebbing tide along Kintyre’s pebble beaches.
