Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep coppery amber with rich mahogany overtones and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Sweet and syrupy from the outset, honeycomb and treacle sponge mingle with ginger-nut, ushering a fruity strawberry undertone. Over time, parma violets and raisins develop, adding floral lift and raisiny depth.
Palate
Chopped hazelnuts and liquorice dominate, framed by subtle peated smoke. Maple syrup sweetness carries through, with a touch of wild berries and blackberries for a fruity, warming finish.
Finish
A creamy, velvety finish with a salted note, where wood shavings and burnt embers linger alongside milk chocolate, rounding the malt to a deeply satisfying close.
