Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a copper-gold glow and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Sweet and syrupy from the outset, with honeycomb, treacle sponge and ginger-nut notes weaving into a fruity strawberry undertone. Over time, aromas of Parma violets and raisins emerge, adding a delicate floral-raisiny lift.
Palate
Chopped hazelnuts and liquorice predominate, tempered by a subtle peat smoke. Maple syrup sweetness from the nose lingers on the palate, mingling with bright notes of wild berries and blackberries.
Finish
Creamy, velvety finish with a salty kiss. Notes of wood shavings and burnt embers fade into milk chocolate, rounding the malt with a warm, lingering depth.
