Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Coastal peat and iodine rise with a salty, smoky halo. Underneath, sherry-rich fruit—figs, raisins, dark cocoa—intertwines with vanilla and toasted oak. A refined maritime mineral knots the finish, inviting a measured, lingering inhale.
Palate
Silky and richly peated, with sherry depth at the core. Dried figs, raisins and plums mingle with dark chocolate and espresso, framed by leather and treacle. Sea-salt and iodine lend a coastal brightness, while spice builds to a long, smoky finish dotted with cocoa and ember.
Finish
An enduring, peaty finish draped in sherry warmth. Sea-salt smoke softens to dark chocolate, fig and red fruit, with toasted oak and a hint of spice. A velvety, resin-tinged warmth lingers long, gradually fading into a delicate maritime finish.
